About this product
This Faithfull set of three HSS step drill bits is designed for cutting multiple hole sizes in thin sheet materials without changing bits. Each bit cuts parallel holes across a specific diameter range, stepping up in 2mm increments, making the set useful for electricians, plumbers and HVAC engineers working on metal panels, enclosures and ducting where cable glands or pipe penetrations need precise holes. The set covers 4-14mm, 6-20mm and 6-30mm ranges, giving broad coverage for trade use while reducing the number of separate bits needed. Made from high-speed steel (HSS), the bits are suitable for sheet metal and plastic up to 4mm thick, but not for hardened steel or thicker material. Supplied in a metal case for storage and transport. As with all step drills, the workpiece should be clamped securely, eye protection worn, and the bit allowed to cool after use.
