About this product
These Irwin HSS Cobalt drill bits are designed for drilling stainless steel and other high alloy steels, with a 3.0mm diameter suited to precision work such as pilot holes, sheet metal fabrication and electrical installations. Each pack contains 10 bits, giving a useful supply for regular users. The bits contain 5% cobalt, giving greater resistance to heat and abrasion than standard HSS bits, backed by a heavy-duty web construction for added strength. A 135° split point allows immediate cutting action with minimal bit walk, helping with accurate hole placement. Manufactured to DIN 338 standards, they have an overall length of 61mm and a working length of 33mm.
