About this product

These Irwin HSS Cobalt Drill Bits are supplied in a pack of 10, each with a 6.0mm diameter, an overall length of 93mm and a working length of 57mm. They are designed for drilling stainless steel and other high alloy steels, suiting medium-duty fixings, brackets and structural metalwork in mechanical assembly, fabrication and construction. The bits contain 5% cobalt, giving improved heat and abrasion resistance so the cutting edge stays sharp for longer than standard HSS bits. Heavy-duty web construction adds strength and rigidity when drilling demanding materials. A 135° split point provides immediate cutting action, reducing bit walk and helping produce accurately positioned holes. The bits are manufactured to DIN 338 Standards.
