About this product
These 10.0mm HSS Cobalt drill bits from Irwin are supplied in a pack of five, suited to drilling stainless steel and other high alloy steels. This larger diameter is commonly used for substantial fixings, structural bolts and mechanical assembly work in construction, fabrication and heavy engineering. The bits contain 5% cobalt for greater heat and abrasion resistance, with a heavy-duty web construction giving strength and rigidity to resist deflection or breakage. A 135° split point starts cutting immediately, reducing bit walk and improving hole placement accuracy. They are manufactured to DIN 338 standards, with an overall length of 133mm and a working length of 87mm.
