Irwin IRWIN® Blue Groove 4X Long Flat Bit 13 x 400mm 10502834

The Irwin Blue Groove 4X Long Flat Bit in 13mm x 400mm provides precise drilling capability for applications requiring this specific diameter in timber construction. The 13mm size is frequently specified for particular fixings, conduit installations, and specialist joinery work where exact sizing is critical through deep timber sections. This bit incorporates the patented Blue Groove point and cutting edge design that cuts cleanly through timber rather than scraping, delivering drilling performance up to 4 times faster than standard flat bits. The 400mm extended shank enables you to reach through floor joists, wall studs, and roof timbers with ease. The parabolic scoop optimises wood chip removal and maintains excellent control, ensuring clean, accurate holes even during extended drilling operations. With its reinforced shank that's 10% larger in diameter and an enhanced 17° relief angle, this bit combines the speed advantages of advanced cutting geometry with the durability demanded by professional contractors and tradespeople.
