This Faithfull flap wheel measures 50 x 20mm and carries a medium 80 grit grade, suited to general-purpose sanding on curved and shaped surfaces. Its compact size makes it useful for detail work and reaching confined spaces, while the medium grit balances material removal with a smooth finish.
The flexible aluminium oxide flaps are secured with a resin bond for strength and durability, giving a consistent finish and helping to prevent clogging when working on contoured pieces. A built-in arbor shaft with a 6mm (1/4in) shank allows it to be fitted into most standard drill chucks.
When using the wheel, wear eye protection, avoid exceeding its maximum RPM, and check it isn't damaged or shedding before use. Keep hands clear of the rotating flaps, mount it securely, work in a ventilated area, and avoid excessive pressure.
