About this product
This Faithfull sledge hammer has a 3.18kg (7lb) head and a seasoned hickory handle made from FSC 100% certified wood sourced from well-managed forests. Both striking faces are precision ground, then hardened and heat treated for consistent performance and resistance to deformation.
At this lighter end of the sledge hammer range, it offers a balance of striking power and manoeuvrability, suiting controlled, repeated blows without excessive fatigue. The hickory handle provides natural shock absorption during use.
Typical uses include setting fence posts, striking timber splitting wedges, and light to medium concrete breaking, making it a general-purpose tool for building and construction work.
