The Makita HM0870C is a 110V SDS Max demolition hammer designed for construction sites where reduced voltage supplies are required for safety compliance. It offers hammer-only action for breaking concrete, removing tiles, and chiselling masonry and brick.
The tool features electronic variable speed control from 1100 to 2650 blows per minute, delivering 7.6 joules of impact energy from a 1100W motor. A soft start function reduces kickback on startup, while a constant speed circuit maintains performance under load. It includes a 12-position chisel adjustment system, a one-touch sliding chuck, and an LED indicator for carbon brush replacement.
Construction is double insulated, and the unit weighs 5.1-5.3kg. Supplied with bit grease, a side handle, and a carry case.
