The Makita HM0871C is a 240v SDS Max demolition hammer with a hammer-only action, designed for sustained chiselling work. It features Makita's AVT Anti-Vibration Technology, which uses pneumatic pressure in the hammer piston chamber to counterbalance and reduce vibration at the steel point, improving operator comfort over long use.
The tool has a 1100w input, a variable speed trigger with electronic speed control, and a soft start function to prevent sudden recoil. A one-touch sliding chuck allows quick bit changes, and long-life carbon brushes are monitored via an LED indicator lamp. It is double insulated for safety.
Weighing around 5.6kg, it produces 1100-2650 blows per minute. It comes supplied with a side handle, bit grease and a carry case.
