About this product
The Makita HM1214C is an SDS Max demolition hammer designed for breaking concrete, masonry and tiles, and for chasing walls. It runs on a 1500W motor with variable speed control giving 950–1,900 blows per minute, operating in hammer-only (chisel) mode. An anti-vibration system reduces operator fatigue during use, and features include a soft start for controlled ramp-up, electronic speed control, 12-stage bit angle setting, and long-life carbon brushes with an LED indicator to signal when they need replacing.
The tool has a one-touch sliding SDS Max chuck for quick bit changes and is double insulated. Weight is given as either 11.7kg or 12.3kg depending on source. This 110V package includes a bull point chisel, bit grease, a side handle, and a carry case.
