About this product
This Thor Hide Mallet is the 680g, size 6 variant with a 70mm diameter head, the heaviest in the range and suited to heavy panel beating, substantial metalwork and fabrication as well as equine care work. It's made from water buffalo hide, which absorbs recoil and dampens sound, giving a firm strike that won't mark or damage finished surfaces.
The large head provides plenty of surface contact for working larger components, while the wooden handle has anti-vibration properties to reduce recoil and improve comfort and control during sustained use.
