The Thor Size 2 Super Plastic Hammer is a soft-faced hammer with a malleable iron head fitted with replaceable ultra-high molecular weight polythene faces, mounted on a wooden handle. Weighing 790g with a 38mm diameter face, it is the lighter option in the range, suited to precision assembly work where control and manoeuvrability are important.
The polythene faces offer high impact and abrasion resistance and are designed to wear gradually rather than fracture, splinter or delaminate, extending the tool's working life.
