About this product
Faithfull Dutch Pins let plasterers and bricklayers hold wooden battens, profiles or feather edges in place without needing an assistant, which is why they're sometimes called a spare man, extra man or masonry clamp. Useful for screeding, setting out profiles and establishing levels. Each pin is forged from hardened steel with a galvanised finish to resist rust. The pointed end of the shank is hammered into plaster or cement brick and blockwork joints, while the curved arm slides along the shank to jam tight against the batten and lock it in position. To release, simply tap the outer end of the curved arm. Sold as a pack of 4, allowing several battens to be secured at once on larger jobs.
