About this product
This Faithfull Replacement Diamond Whetstone is designed as a replacement stone for the FAIDWKIT system, which includes a docking station and storage wallet. It's aimed at tradespeople and workshops needing to keep cutting tools and blades sharp. The stone is double-sided, 8mm thick and measures 70mm x 200mm, electroplated with monocrystalline diamond in two grits: 400G coarse for removing material quickly and 1000G fine for polishing a sharp edge. It sharpens carbon steel, HSS and tungsten carbide, and can also be used to abrade glass, ceramic tiles and porcelain. Suitable for general purpose sharpening of knives, scissors, chisels, plane blades, cutting blades and TCT router bits. It can be used dry or with water as a lubricant, so no sharpening oils are needed.
