This Faithfull drywall taping knife has a 300mm wide flexible Blue Steel tapered blade, giving good coverage for spreading jointing compound and applying paper or fibreglass drywall tape over joints in plasterboard. The wider blade suits larger surface areas, helping to cover more ground with fewer passes on bigger plastering jobs.

The soft grip handle includes an integrated thumb rest for comfortable, controlled use, while the tapered blade shape assists with running the knife into corners. It is also useful for applying covering over nail and screw indents, patching holes, and smoothing wall-coverings.

The blade is for spreading and smoothing drywall joint compound only, and should not be used for cutting, prying or scraping hard materials. As with any bladed tool, edges may be sharp, so it should be inspected before use and replaced if bent, damaged or corroded.
