The Faithfull Flooring Clamp is a specialised tool for closing gaps between floorboards before nailing them into position. Built for professional flooring contractors, it offers reliable performance on timber floor installations where precise board placement is needed. The clamp has a solid grey iron casing with fully enclosed bevel gears, protecting the mechanism from dust and dirt. Spring-loaded malleable iron cams automatically grip joists between 38mm and 89mm wide, while a steel main screw and drop handle allow controlled tightening. Used in pairs, the clamps are pushed onto the joist so the cams grip automatically, then the handle is rotated to wind the shoe against the floorboard, drawing it against the adjoining board ready for nailing. Compact and portable, they suit both new installations and renovation work.
