About this product
This 8-piece set of HSS wood turning chisels is designed for use on woodturning lathes, suited to both hardwoods and softwoods. High-speed steel construction holds a sharp edge for longer than carbon steel equivalents, reducing the need for frequent re-sharpening and helping keep work at the lathe uninterrupted. Each chisel has a full-sized contoured walnut handle for comfortable grip, fitted with a brass ferrule for durability. The set comes supplied in a wooden storage box to keep the tools organised and protected. The set contains a 15mm diamond point scraper, 15mm plain skew chisel, 25mm plain skew chisel, 15mm parting tool, 15mm round nose scraper, 8mm spindle gouge, 16mm roughing out gouge and 20mm roughing out gouge. Each tool has an overall length of 410mm and a blade length of 160mm.
