About this product
The Faithfull No.6 Fore Plane is a traditional bench plane suited to both stock removal and precision work on long edges and wide boards, bridging rough dimensioning and finer truing tasks. It has a grey cast iron body for strength and stability, with a precision ground base and sides to ensure flatness and squareness. Machined seatings help eliminate blade movement and judder during use. The lever cap features a brass locking screw for secure blade fitting and quick release when sharpening, while a solid brass blade adjustment nut allows precise depth control. Wooden handles and guidance knobs are fitted for comfort during use. The plane has a cutter width of 60mm (2.3/8in) and an overall length of 457mm (18in).
