The Monument 361T Box Ring Immersion Heater Spanner is a slogging-type tool for installing and removing immersion heaters in domestic hot water cylinders. An octagon at the base of the cylindrical section allows the handle to be struck to loosen stubborn or seized heaters, while the one-piece casting gives full transmission of power to the fitting, avoiding the weaknesses of loose tommy bar designs. Overall clearance around the spanner is 7/8in (22mm), making it suited to working on insulated copper cylinders where space is restricted. The tool is made in Britain.
