About this product
The Monument 454B is a professional tap reseating tool used to re-cut the seats of worn taps and stopcocks without needing to disconnect them from the pipework, saving time on repair jobs. It fits 1/2in and 3/4in BS5412 bevelled seats and comes complete with 17mm and 20mm (11/16in and 13/16in) bevelled cutters plus one double bush. Parallel bushes are included for taps with recessed threads in the body, where internal threads would not otherwise allow tapered cones to enter. The cutters are case hardened for extended service life, and a feedscrew allows fine adjustment for precise cutting control. All parts are interchangeable, making the tool straightforward to maintain and repair over time.
