Black and Decker BCHTS3620 36v Cordless Hedge Trimmer 550mm No Batteries No Battery Charger

The BCHTS36 is a cordless hedge trimmer which runs on a Black & Decker 36v lithium ion battery, meaning it shares battery compatibility with other tools in the range such as grass trimmers, lawnmowers, chainsaws, leaf blowers and vacuum cleaners. If you already own a Black & Decker 36v battery and charger it is available as a bare tool so you don't have to buy duplicates of them, or it is also available as a complete starter kit with a battery and charger included. Black & Decker's 36v platform is a popular choice for gardeners as the powerful lithium ion batteries are an ideal combination of performance and mobility, giving you all the cordless freedom of a petrol machine but without the hassle of buying, mixing and safely storing hazardous fuel, or having to maintain a petrol engine - simply recharge your batteries in between uses and you're always ready to go. The BCHTS36 has a 550mm blade which is fitted with an anti-jam mechanism. This enables you to power through blockages that would otherwise stall the machine. The safety starting switch and ergonomic handles mean the hedge trimmer can be used safely and comfortably, while the low noise and light weight also ensure it is less fatiguing on the ears and arms during longer hedge trimming sessions.
