About this product
The Starrett CSC16 is a 16mm bi-metal holesaw designed for battery-powered power tools, cutting twice as many holes per charge as an equivalent standard holesaw. It has hardened, heat and abrasion-resisting high speed steel teeth with a constant pitch of 8 teeth per 25mm, giving a smooth finish, set in a tough alloy body and cap for strength and shatter resistance. It is a complete assembly including arbor and pilot drill, so no separate purchase is needed. A flared base cap limits cutting depth to around 13mm, acting as a safety stop against drilling too deep. Suitable for stainless, tool and mild steel sheeting, plasterboard, wood and thin plastics, making it useful for onsite work.
