The Starrett Fastcut Bi-Metal Holesaw (89mm) is designed for professional hole cutting across a range of materials, including wood, plastics, stainless and mild steel. It uses a bi-metal construction with high-speed steel teeth electron beam welded to an alloy steel body, giving durability in demanding applications.
A variable pitch tooth design with 5.5 TPI/25mm reduces vibration and improves heat and wear resistance, giving a smoother, faster cut and longer tool life compared to constant pitch saws. It is suited to cutting tubes with wall thickness of up to 3mm, has a cutting depth of 41mm, and fits standard arbors.
