About this product
The Starrett Fastcut Bi-Metal Holesaw (46mm) is designed for fast, clean cutting across a range of materials including wood, plastics and metals. Its bi-metal construction uses high-speed steel teeth electron beam welded to an alloy steel body, giving durability in demanding trade use.
A variable pitch tooth design with 5.5 TPI/25mm improves heat and wear resistance, reduces vibration and extends tool life compared to constant pitch saws. It is particularly suited to cutting stainless and mild steel sheet, as well as tubes with a wall thickness of up to 3mm.
Cutting depth is 41mm, and the holesaw is compatible with standard arbors.
