About this product
The Makita DJV182 is an 18v cordless brushless top-handle jigsaw, supplied without battery, charger or case. It offers variable speed control from 800 to 3,500 strokes per minute via a dial, a stroke length of 26mm, and cutting capacities of 135mm in wood, 20mm in aluminium and 10mm in steel.
Features include a change lever for three orbital settings plus straight cutting, tool-less blade change, a soft start feature with automatic idle speed reduction, a trigger lock-on button, and a blower function with twin LED job lights to keep the cutting line clear and visible. The base bevels 0 to 45 degrees left and right, and the rubberised soft-grip handle helps reduce vibration.
The unit weighs around 2.6kg and comes with a hex wrench, anti-splintering device, cover plate and dust nozzle.
