The Makita LS0815FLN is a 216mm slide compound mitre saw with an integrated laser marker and LED job light to help with cutting accuracy. It suits both DIY enthusiasts and tradesmen, with a soft grip handle and sliding sub fence (left side only) for comfort and control, plus a soft start feature.
The saw runs on 1,400W input power at 5,000rpm no load speed, with a 216 x 30mm blade. Mitre range is 50° left to 60° right, with positive stops at 0, 15, 22.5, 31.6 and 45°, and bevel range is 48° left to 5° right. It uses 4 steel bars and 6 linear ball bearings on a cast alloy base with twin parallel slides for smooth, precise sliding action.
Cutting capacities include 65 x 305mm at mitre 0°/bevel 0°, and 65 x 150mm at mitre 60°/bevel 0°. It weighs 14.1kg, has a carrying handle, and comes supplied with a TCT blade.
