About this product
The Makita LS1019 is a 260mm sliding compound mitre saw suited to cutting wood, lumber and trim on site or in the workshop. Its rail-forward design means the motor head slides on fixed pipes without extending the machine at the rear, so it can be positioned close to a wall while still increasing cutting capacity for larger workpieces.
Features include bevel adjustment from a front-mounted knob (0°–48° left and right), electronic speed control to maintain a constant cutting speed under load, an electric brake, and a soft start function. It can be connected to a dust extractor for cleaner operation.
Rated at 1510W with a no-load speed of 3200/min, it takes a 260 x 30mm bore blade and weighs 26.1kg. Supplied with a TCT saw blade, dust bag, vertical vice, hex wrench and triangular rule.
