About this product
The Makita DTM50 is an 18v LXT cordless oscillating multi tool, supplied body only with a hex key but no battery, charger or case. It suits owners of the Makita 18v LXT battery system who want to add the tool without paying for duplicate batteries or chargers.
It features a thumb on/off switch positioned for ease of use, a variable speed control dial, and a hex wrench holder built into the body. Accessories fit via an OIS interface and can be positioned at 30° increments across 360°, with a dust extraction attachment also supported.
Speed ranges from 6,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute at an oscillation angle of 3.2°. The tool weighs around 2.0kg, and is suited to tasks such as cutting, sanding, scraping and chiselling.
