About this product
The Makita DTM51Z is a bare 18V LXT cordless oscillating multi-tool, supplied without battery, charger or case, suited to tradespeople who already own Makita LXT batteries. It uses a tool-free lever-style OIS accessory clamp, allowing quick swaps between blades and attachments for cutting, sanding, scraping or grinding across materials such as plasterboard, wood, metal and ceramic tile.
Accessories can be positioned in 30° increments across a full 360°, with an oscillation angle of 3.2° and variable speed from 6,000 to 20,000 OPM. It has a maximum output of 390W, soft start and anti-restart functions, and an ergonomic barrel grip for comfortable handling. Weight varies between roughly 2.0 and 2.4kg depending on the battery fitted.
