Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint in Black is a 2.5 litre hammered-finish paint suited to larger metalwork projects, such as fencing, gates, railings and garden structures. Its 3 in 1 formula can be applied directly onto rusty surfaces, removing the need for a primer or undercoat and saving preparation time. The paint forms a protective barrier that seals out moisture, offering corrosion resistance both indoors and outdoors on items such as drainpipes, guttering and garden furniture. It is touch dry within an hour and gives long-lasting protection for up to 8 years, finishing with a subtle hammered effect and metallic sheen. The larger 2.5 litre size provides good coverage for bigger or multiple projects where consistent results are needed across extensive metalwork.
