Knipex 49 21 A01 precision circlip pliers are designed for fitting and removing external circlips in confined spaces, thanks to their 90° bent tips. They suit shaft diameters of 3–10mm and have tips measuring 0.9mm in diameter, with an overall length of 130mm.
Constructed from chrome vanadium electric steel, the tool is oil hardened with a polished head and precision, non-slip inserted tips that offer a longer service life than turned tips. Large contact faces prevent distortion of circlips and aid accurate fitting, while a bolted joint gives precise, backlash-free operation. The opening spring is internal and captive for protection, and the handles have a non-slip plastic coating for comfort and grip. Suitable for trade or DIY use, including automotive applications.
