About this product
The Knipex 70 01 160 is a 160mm diagonal cutter suited to general all-round cutting tasks. It is forged from vanadium electric steel and multi-stage oil-hardened, with the cutting edges additionally induction-hardened to approximately 62 HRC for a long service life. The narrow head design allows access in confined areas.
The handles are coated in PVC for improved grip and comfort. The cutter gives clean cuts on soft and hard wire, including thin copper wire, right to the edge tips. Cutting capacity is around 4.0mm for soft wire, 2.8-3.0mm for medium hard wire, and 2.0mm for hard wire.
