About this product
These 250mm offset aviation snips are designed for right-hand cutting and are colour-coded green for easy identification. The offset blade lifts the hands above the cutting surface, giving better visibility and clearance when working on flat sheets and panels, making them well suited to HVAC installers, sheet metal workers and fabricators.
Constructed from forged alloy steel with Chrome Molybdenum, they use a high leverage compound cutting action and a serrated edge to grip material and prevent slippage. They can cut up to 18 gauge steel, as well as aluminium, sheet uPVC, wire mesh, leather, copper and plastic. A one-handed automatic latch releases with a squeeze of the bi-material handles, which are shaped for comfort and grip during use.
