About this product
The Knipex 90 23 01 DP50 is a specialist plastic pipe cutter for cutting and chamfering plastic and composite pipes in a single operation, up to 50mm diameter. It produces clean, square, burr-free cuts without crushing the pipe, removing the need for secondary deburring and reducing the risk of leaks or blockages at seals. The cutter uses a reversible, high-quality ball-bearing steel blade with two cutting edges that can be swapped without tools once worn. The blade is spring loaded, so no readjustment is needed mid-cut, and the housing is made from glass fibre reinforced plastic for durability. Maximum wall thickness is 2.4mm and minimum pipe length is 10mm. Suited to plumbing contractors, heating engineers and maintenance professionals working with PVC, PE, PP and other plastic pipework, its compact design also allows use in confined installation spaces.
