About this product
The Lindstrom 7190 Supreme diagonal cutting nipper is a precision side cutter for electronics assembly and fine cutting in confined spaces, made from high-performance tool steel with induction hardened cutting edges at 58-60 HRC. Its tapered head is the smallest of the standard head options, tapered on both sides with an underside cutaway to reach difficult areas that conventional cutters cannot.
The micro-bevel cutting edge pinches component leads rather than shearing them, giving reduced lead altitude and a smaller cut surface, suited to PCB work, wire preparation and component trimming. A screw joint minimises friction and keeps the cutting edges aligned, while sleeved handles with a return spring reduce fatigue during repeated use. Overall length is 109mm, with a head width of 9mm, head depth of 6mm, tip width of 1.0mm and cutting capacity of 0.2-1.25mm.
