The Lindstrom 8160 is a diagonal cutting nipper with an oval head, designed for electronic assembly and fine wire work, including wire harness work and standard printed circuit board assembly. It is made from high-performance ball bearing steel with a black oxide finish for durability, and the cutting edges are precision induction hardened to 63-65 HRC for wear resistance. Numerically controlled machine grinding ensures consistent edge and angle accuracy. The micro-bevel cutting edge pinches component leads rather than crushing them, giving lower cut altitude and reduced surface area, and offers a cutting capacity of 0.4-2.0mm. The handles feature a return spring and protective sleeves for comfortable use. Overall length is 125mm, with a head width of 16mm and head depth of 8mm, suiting confined-space work requiring precision control.
