About this product
Stanley Long Aviation Snips are straight-cutting snips designed for precision metalwork and fabrication work. Made from forged alloy steel with chrome molybdenum construction, they use a high leverage compound cutting action to deliver strong cutting power, and a serrated cutting edge helps prevent the material slipping during use.
A one-handed automatic latch releases with a squeeze of the handles for quick, easy operation, while bi-material handles offer improved comfort and grip during extended use. The snips can cut up to 18 gauge steel and are suitable for aluminium, sheet uPVC, wire mesh, leather, copper and plastic, making them useful for a range of trades working with sheet materials.
