About this product
These 250mm offset aviation snips are designed for left (anti-clockwise) cuts, with the offset blade keeping hands clear of the work surface for better visibility and access when cutting flat sheets, panels and curves. They suit HVAC work, roofing and metal fabrication, and are colour-coded red for quick identification.
Made from forged alloy steel with a Chrome Molybdenum construction, they use a high leverage compound cutting action and a serrated edge to prevent material slipping. They cut up to 18 gauge steel and are also suitable for aluminium, sheet uPVC, wire mesh, leather, copper and plastic.
A one-handed automatic latch releases when the bi-material handles are squeezed, giving a comfortable, secure grip during use.
