The DeWalt DCD470N is a 54v XR FlexVolt cordless brushless right angle and diamond core drill, designed for drilling large diameter holes in timber, brickwork and concrete block. Its slim head profile suits restrictive workspaces, making it appropriate for plumbers, electricians, HVAC installers and general builders as well as core drilling tasks.
The brushless motor improves efficiency and tool longevity, while two variable speed ranges (0-400 and 0-1,320 RPM) let users match speed and torque to the application. The Perform and Protect E-Clutch detects reactionary torque from binding or stalling and reduces speed so control can be regained safely.
An adjustable bail handle and two-position side handle provide secure grip and leverage, and a metal gear housing protects against jobsite impacts. This is a bare unit supplied without battery, charger or case, along with a chuck key.
