About this product
The Makita JN1601 is a 110V nibbler designed for clean, precise cutting in keystone plate, deck plate and other corrugated or trapezoidal sheet materials. Its die holder rotates a full 360°, allowing straight or curved cuts and easy cutting at angles to grooves in profiled sheet materials.
The tool has an ergonomic handle with a rubberised grip and an on/off switch, along with a lightweight, compact aluminium housing that aids access to tight spaces and overhead work. It is double insulated.
Specifications include 550W input power, 2,200 strokes per minute, minimum internal cutting radius of 45mm and external radius of 50mm. Cutting capacity is up to 2.5mm aluminium, 1.6mm mild steel, and 1.2mm or 0.8mm stainless steel depending on grade. It weighs 1.6kg without cable, with a 2m power cord.
