About this product
The Makita DCO180 is an 18V cordless drywall cutter from the LXT system, designed for cutting outlet holes in plasterboard on construction and renovation sites. It runs at 30,000rpm for fast, clean cutting, with a tool-less depth adjustment between 11.5-31mm. The barrel handle has an ergonomic soft grip to reduce hand fatigue, useful for overhead and vertical work.
Safety features include an anti-restart function to stop accidental start-up when a battery is fitted, plus an electronic current limiter for overload protection. The shoe plate doubles as a bit replacement wrench, and the tool is compatible with a dust cover for vacuum extraction. A slide-type switch with lock-on allows continuous operation.
Supplied as a body-only unit, without battery, charger or case, for integration into an existing LXT battery system.
