The Makita DTW180 is an 18v LXT cordless impact wrench for tradespeople, supplied as a bare unit without batteries, charger or case, ideal for those already invested in the Makita LXT battery system. It has a 3/8" square drive, brushless motor, and delivers up to 310 Nm nut-busting torque and 180 Nm max fastening torque, suiting standard bolts M8-M16 and high tensile M6-M12.
Control features include 2-stage impact power selection (0-2,000 or 0-3,600 impacts per minute), trigger-controlled variable speed, forward/reverse rotation, and an electric brake. A reverse rotation auto-stop mode halts impact and rotation within 0.2 seconds once a fastener is loosened, helping to prevent thread damage.
The wrench has a compact, lightweight design with an ergonomic soft-grip handle, an LED job light for darker work areas, and weighs around 1.2 kg. It comes with a belt clip for carrying on site.
