The Makita DPJ180 is a cordless 18V LXT biscuit jointer supplied as a bare unit, without battery, charger or case — suited to tradespeople already using the Makita 18V LXT system who want to add biscuit jointing to their tools. It features a compact, slim motor housing for easy grip and control.
It uses a 100mm diameter, 6-tooth blade, 4mm thick with a 22mm hole diameter, and offers 6 preset cutting depths. The angle-adjustable fence has positive stops at 0º, 45º and 90º. Safety features include an anti-restart function and electronic current limiter, both with warning lamps, plus a shaft lock for easy blade changes.
The dust nozzle rotates for easy connection to dust extraction, and the blade cover opens via clamp screws for straightforward blade replacement. A dust bag is included.
