About this product
The Makita DRT50 is an 18v LXT cordless brushless plunge router and trimmer, aimed at users wanting a lightweight, cordless alternative to corded routers. The battery is mounted on top for balance and control, and the tool features an aluminium housing and base for durability and accuracy.
A variable speed dial (10,000–30,000rpm) works alongside constant speed control and a soft start circuit for smooth, consistent cutting. The brushless motor offers longer run time and tool life. Other features include an LED job light, push-button on/off with lock, dust extraction connection and shaft lock.
Collet capacity is 3/8in and 1/4in, with plunge capacity of 0-35mm and trimmer capacity of 0-40mm. Supplied as a bare unit with no battery or charger, in a Makpac Type 4 case, along with a trimmer base, straight guide, dust nozzle, hex wrenches, collet cone and template guide.
