About this product
The Makita DRT50 is an 18V LXT cordless brushless router/trimmer designed for cabinetry and woodworking tasks. It has an aluminium housing and base for durability and accuracy, weighs 2.1kg, and features a top-mounted battery position for balance. The brushless motor gives longer runtime, increased power and extended tool life.
Control is provided via a variable speed dial (10,000–30,000rpm), electronic speed control to maintain speed under load, and a soft start function for smoother starts. Other features include a shaft lock for changing bits, an LED job light, dust extraction connection and a fine depth adjustment system. Plunge capacity is 0-40mm as a trimmer and 0-35mm with a plunge base. Collet capacity is 1/4" and 3/8".
