About this product
The Makita DTR180 is a cordless brushless rebar tying tool designed to automate the tying of rebar and underfloor heating cables, reducing manual labour and the need for hot-work permits, as it produces no heat or sparks. It can be operated single-handedly in single or continuous mode, leaving the other hand free to position the rebar, and is suitable for D10, D13 and D16 rebar in various combinations.
Tying strength can be adjusted across six stages to suit the material. The brushless motor is maintenance-free, and a battery protection system shuts off power when levels are low. XPT technology gives improved dust and water resistance for harsher site conditions.
Supplied as a bare unit with hex key, belt clip and carry case, with no battery or charger.
