About this product
The Makita JN1601 is a 550W nibbler for clean, precise cutting in keystone plate, deck plate and other corrugated or trapezoidal sheet materials. It cuts mild steel up to 1.6mm, stainless steel up to 1.2mm (and thinner gauges up to 0.8mm) and aluminium up to 2.5mm, with a minimum internal cutting radius of 45mm and external radius of 50mm.
The die holder rotates a full 360°, allowing straight or curved cuts and easy angling against grooves in profiled sheet. It runs at 2,200 strokes per minute and is double insulated.
Design features include an ergonomic, rubberised handle for comfortable control, a lightweight and compact aluminium body for manoeuvrability in tight or overhead spaces, and a 2m power cord. It weighs 1.6kg without cable.
