About this product
The Makita RP001G is a 40v XGT cordless brushless plunge router accepting 1/2" bits, suited to demanding routing tasks. It offers five cutting speeds (8,000–25,000/min) and a brushless motor for smooth, consistent cutting with longer runtime and reduced maintenance. A lock lever allows precise depth control, with a stopper base for setting preset cutting depths, and the shaft lock allows easy bit changes with a spanner.
LED work lights illuminate the cutting line, and the router supports Makita's Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS), connecting via Bluetooth to compatible dust extractors that start automatically with the tool. A soft brake reduces the risk of damage when stopping.
Supplied as a bare unit without battery or charger, in a case with accessories including a straight guide, straight bit, collet sleeve and spanner.
