About this product
The DeWalt DCS382 is an 18v XR cordless reciprocating saw with a brushless motor for extended run time and durability. It is lightweight and compact, suited to a range of construction and demolition tasks. A pivoting shoe allows a more comfortable cutting stance, while the ergonomic handle and rubber overmould aid comfort. A twist-action keyless blade clamp allows quick blade changes, and an LED light improves visibility of the cut line. The variable speed trigger with lock-off switch enables controlled cuts and safer operation.
Cutting capacity is up to 300mm in wood, 130mm in steel sections and pipes, and 160mm in PVC, with a no-load stroke rate of 0-3,200 strokes per minute and a 28mm stroke length. It weighs 2.3kg. This is sold as a bare unit, supplied without battery, charger or case.
