About this product

A trade jig for cutting kitchen worktops up to 700mm wide, made from 12mm thick, hard-wearing Compact Grade High Pressure Laminate that is CNC machined. It allows both parts of a joint to be cut in around 15 minutes, including setting up, and copes with worktops up to 40mm thick, with or without a postformed edge. It provides left and right-hand corners, a 400mm radius peninsular joint, a 45° end cut, a 45° trade corner for hob units, 100mm and 40mm radius corners, a 35mm door hole and a 3/4 inch BSP hole for mixer taps, plus fixed lengths from 250mm up to 700mm. Six 10mm ABS plastic pins with tapered shoulders give three-point contact for easy setting up. Using the jig requires a portable plunge router (minimum 1300W, 1/2 inch shank), a 30mm guide bush, a 1/2 inch TCT cutter and two clamps.
